Skynet Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Skynet website, dashboard, Discord bot, premium services, marketplace and extension features, AI tools, and related integrations or content.

Website + Dashboard Bot Usage Paid Features

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing the site, logging into the dashboard, inviting the bot, using platform features, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms and meet Discord’s minimum age and account requirements.

If you use the service on behalf of a company, community, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of the service

Skynet provides Discord bot functionality, dashboard management tools, analytics, documentation, premium memberships, extensions, integrations, AI-assisted features, moderation tooling, and related community or automation features. Some features depend on third-party services or external APIs and may change over time.

Features may be modified, restricted, removed, or introduced without prior notice when needed for security, stability, legal compliance, or product improvement.

3. Acceptable use and prohibited conduct

You agree not to use the service to:

  • violate any law, regulation, platform rule, or third-party right;
  • harass, abuse, stalk, exploit, impersonate, or defraud other users or communities;
  • send spam, distribute malware, deploy malicious extensions, or interfere with service stability;
  • attempt to bypass restrictions, rate limits, access controls, payment controls, or sandbox limitations;
  • use the service to process illegal, infringing, or unauthorized content;
  • use the bot or website in ways that violate Discord’s Terms, Developer Terms, or Community Guidelines;
  • reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or disrupt the service except where expressly permitted by applicable law or license rights.

4. User content and responsibility

You are responsible for content, configurations, prompts, extension code, form submissions, embeds, server metadata, and other material you submit through the service. You must have the rights and permissions necessary to use, upload, or process that content.

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, copy, and transmit it as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.

5. Extensions, integrations, and AI features

Skynet may offer or support community-created extensions, third-party integrations, and AI-assisted features. We may review, refuse, disable, remove, or restrict these features when they pose legal, security, operational, or policy concerns.

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them for moderation, publishing, automation, or decision-making.

6. Billing, memberships, and paid features

Certain features require payment, subscription, vote redemption, or another qualifying status. Prices, terms, and feature scope may be listed on the membership or checkout pages.

  • You authorize recurring charges for subscription services until cancelled through the applicable billing channel.
  • Payment processing is handled by third-party providers; we do not control every step of their billing systems.
  • Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated, fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period begins.
  • Paid features may be suspended or revoked if payment fails, is reversed, or is reasonably associated with fraud or abuse.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to some or all of the service if we believe you violated these terms, created material risk for the platform or its users, attempted fraud, abused integrations, or otherwise misused the service.

You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not erase obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific uptime, perfect accuracy, or compatibility with every use case, integration, or Discord platform change.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill, content, or data arising from or related to use of the service.

If liability cannot be excluded, total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service will be limited to the amount you paid for the affected service during the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100 USD if you paid nothing, whichever is greater.

9. Governing rules and updates

These terms are governed by applicable law, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise. We may update these terms from time to time by posting a revised version. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of an update means you accept the revised terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through the support server or the GitHub repository.
